In this section we suggest different options. You can visit the circuits in your own vehicle, hire tours from a travel agency, or use public transportation to get to some of the tourist attractions in the area.

In winter, most activities take place at Chapelco Ski Resort, located 19 km (11 mi) from the city center.

If you are planning a ski vacation, it is recommended to book ski passes and gear rental in advance as there is great demand during the high season in the months of July and August.

In winter, access roads to tourist circuits can be rough or closed due to weather conditions. We suggest inquiring about road condition at the Information Office before setting out on any of these circuits.

Visitors tend to take greater advantage of the gastronomic offer in winter, when Tea Houses display the best of the regional and homemade pastries together with fine fruit jams and marmalades in subtle combinations.

Do not forget to check weather reports and confirm circuit lengths when choosing your excursions: days are shorter in winter, and weather conditions sometimes hinder access to some areas.
