7-day program to optimize your time in San Martín de los Andes getting to know its surroundings

Day 1:

Check-in

City tour, lake front pier and/or nearby neighborhoods

Day 2:

Option 1. Chapelco Summer Resort. Open from 10.30am to 6.30pm. The following activities are available: zip lining, horseback riding, artificial climbing wall, biking, hiking, paintball, archery, mini-golf, summer toboggan, hiking to the summit, mountain boarding, zorbing and paragliding.

Option 2. Visit the Bandurrias viewpoint (Mirador) and/or the Arrayán viewpoint, by car or hiking.

Rural tourism (visit a berry farm or horseback riding).

Day 3:

Option 1. Junín de los Andes, CEAN (Center of Applied Ecology in the Province of Neuquén). Visit Huechulafquen Lake and Lanin Volcano (Optional: lake tour starting at Puerto Canoa on board of Catamarán José Julián).

Option 2. Visit Yuco, Nonthue, Hua Hum. Hike to Chachin Fall.

Option 3. White-water rafting in the Hua Hum river (summer only).

Option 4. Boat cruise on Lake Lacar and Lake Nonthue.

Day 4:

Quila Quina (cruising the lake or driving).

Theatre, cinema or pub

Day 5:

Option 1. 7 lakes road to Villa La Angostura.. Drive back through Villa Traful or Paso del Córdoba (Lake Meliquina) or on the same 7 lakes road.

Option 2. 7 lakes road to Vulligñanco Fall, visit Falkner and Villarino Lakes (all on paved road).

Day 6:

Option 1. Lolog Lake Village and beach.

Option 2. Catritre beach and Arrayán viewpoint. Enjoy a hot chocolate and a slice of cake at the Tea House.

Afternoon: Visit the local craftsmen and manufacturers.

Day 7:

Shopping and relaxing before heading back home.
